Since its New Year’s Eve, I guess I should get started on the December Newsletter. We hope you all had a Merry Christmas with family and friends. Linda and I spent Christmas Eve with my Mother and Christmas day with Linda’s Mother. Now we are looking at a new year coming in.

I was getting bored with the old layout for the newsletter, so we decided to make a couple changes. Hope you like it.

There isn’t much going on in the Chapter this time of year. We had our last meeting of the year andwill be dark until spring. We have our new flagand it’s bought and paid for. The flag is real sharp. We are going to be the classiest Chapter at the State Samboree.

Once again, believe it or not, I am about out of words. How about someo ne out there contributingan article. Maybe a story about your favorite camping trip or your favorite recipe. I need some help here.

Happy New Year

December Meeting
The December meeting was called to order by President, Dot Walsh, at 3:05pm on December 11th with the salute to the flag and Pledge of Allegiance.  We had 6 rigs answer roll call and the Jim read the minutes of the last meeting.  Jim gave the Treasurer’s report with the state per rig fee being the only expense.

Under old business, Jim announced that the flag has been ordered and will be shipped on the 14th of  December.

We did not have a 50/50, but Shirley had given Jim the idea of placing a fine on those who did not wear their vest to the meeting. She was the first one topay the fine. With the fines and a few donations, we raised $11.00 for the Chapter Treasury.  With the end of the year coming we had to

audit the books. Jeanne and Shirley volunteered and they did that after the meeting.  We discussed ways to raise money for the  Chapter. Clyde is going to talk to the Farm

and Ranch Museum about setting up as a vendor. There being no other business the meeting was adjourned.
