The Logan Valley Sams went to the Cottonwood area near Yankton for their first campout of the season on April 26-28. Five rigs were present.
Marvin Brummond resigned as president at this time because of his wife, Carol’s ill health. Roy Stohler will take over as president.
The group visited an antique shop and ate lunch and dinner out on Tuesday.

On May 25-28 the group camped at Snyder Bend Camp ground near Salix, Iowa with five rigs present.
The chapter members participated in the Clean-Up America effort by picking up trash along the lake.
Two rigs will be going to the Samboree. Our chapter will be represented by our Vice-President, Gary Uehling.
We visited the new Air Museum on the airbase at Sioux City on Tuesday.
Our next campout after the Samboree will be at the lake of one of our members on June 28-30
