WAGON WHEEL SAMS
ROBIDOUX RV PARK
MINUTES OF FEBRUARY 21, 2015

The February 21, 2015 meeting was called to order by President Alvin Herbel at 7:00 PM with the Pledge of Allegiance recited by the members.

Roll Call: The roll call was read with 15 rigs represented.

Guests present included, Dale and Charlene Mahnke and Meeya Weiss.

Minutes: The minutes of the January 17 meeting were read by Secretary Lois Herbel.  There were no corrections to the minutes.  A motion was made by Sharon to accept the minutes as read and seconded by Bob.  Motion carried.

Correspondence: Emails were received by Carla in regard to review and suggestions for the Standard Operating Procedure draft.

Report of Committees:  Executive Board: reviewed the Standard Operating Procedure and made suggestions for revisions.  The draft version will be handed out at the close of the meeting.

Old Business:  Emergency Forms: updates are to be given to Al Herbel so forms can be kept current.  A copy of the emergency forms will be placed in the tote for campouts and also with the President, Vice-President and Secretary.  These forms will be available for EMTs should an emergency arise.
Standard Operating Procedure Draft: The Executive Board met and reviewed/revised the Standard Operating Procedure.  It was then sent to Carla for review.  Suggestions were added to the draft and are noted in italic font.  Each rig will receive a copy of the draft at the end of the meeting to take home and review.  The draft will be presented for vote of approval at the March meeting after discussion by the group.
Volunteer Hours:  Carla had told us that hours for highway clean up or activities where we receive compensation can not be counted as volunteer.  However, any hours that we donate to community functions without compensation can be counted (ex. Church committees, service organizations, leaders of youth groups, etc.)
Dues: A motion was made by Sharon and seconded by Bonita to leave dues at the $10.00 rate for next year.  A report by Secretary Lois Herbel showed that we have been operating within our means at the $10.00 annual rate.  Motion passed.

New Business:  Campout information was provided by Wagonmaster LeRoy Schreiner.
Tumbleweed ? June 19-20.  Reservations can be made 90 days in advance.  Sites 17-31 have water and electricity.  If a cancellation is necessary, it must be done 3 days in advance.  Everyone must make their own reservations.  We will not reserve the shelter.
