MINUTES OF MARCH 21, 2015

The March 21, 2015 meeting was called to order by President Alvin Herbel at 7:00 PM with the Pledge of Allegiance recited by the members.

Roll Call: The roll call was read with 16 rigs represented.

Guests present included, Dale and Charlene Mahnke

Minutes: The minutes of the February 21 meeting were read by Secretary Lois Herbel.  There were no corrections to the minutes.  A motion was made by Betty to accept the minutes as read and seconded by Bob.  Motion carried.

Correspondence: An email was received from Carla notifying members of the Pilot Flying J diesel fuel discount from March 20 to April 30.  She also explained the amount of money that the Council Bluffs Camping World and International Camping World is donating to the Samboree.  She explained that insurance has been obtained for the cart and Purple People Eater at Samboree.

Report of Committees:  Wagonmaster: The sites at Curt Gowdy campground are already taken with only 3 of our rigs obtaining sites.  Amotion made by Betty and seconded by Marsha was made to go to Ft. Rob for our June campout.  Motion passed.  Everyone will make their own reservations.  Many have already registered for the April campout at Robidoux RV Park for April.  Those needing to register can do so after the meeting.  The details for the July campout at Gillette was tabled until next meeting.
Polar Plunge: There were 146 who plunged at this event.  $37,000 was raised.

Old Business:  Emergency Forms ? be sure to provide Al Herbel with any updates you wish to have on file.
Standard Operating Procedure ? every rig was provided a draft copy at the last meeting.  Those not in attendance were mailed a copy with a note attached to explain the document and the vote to be taken at the March meeting.  Changes in the document include leaving in the wording as is for donations to State and limiting bereavement to member and spouse with the donation amount remaining at $25.00.  A bereavement basket will be passed for additional bereavement donation beyond member and spouse.

New Business: None

50/50: A total of $72.00 was taken in through the 50/50 drawing.  The Club received $36.00.  Cap and Dale won the 50/50 drawing of $18.00 apiece.  Dale donated his winnings back to the club.

Host/Hostess: We would like to thank Char and Jerry for a fine job hosting the March meeting. Larry and Lurleen will host the April 17th 6:00 PM meeting at Robidoux RV Multi-Purpose Room with potluck dinner.

Adjourn: A motion was made by Char to adjourn the meeting and seconded by Sandy.  Motion carried.  Meeting was adjourned at 8:00 PM.
