MINUTES OF JULY 18, 2015
The July 18, 2015 meeting was called to order by President Alvin Herbel at 6:15 PM with the Pledge of Allegiance recited by the members. The Good Sams Pledge was read to the membership by President Al Herbel.
Roll Call: The roll call was read with 11 rigs represented.
Guests present included None
Minutes: The minutes of the June 20 meeting were read by Secretary Lois Herbel. There were no corrections. A motion was made by Betty Wilhelm to accept the minutes as read and seconded by Bonita Case. Motion carried.
Correspondence: Letters of ?thank you? for donations were read from Dogs for the Deaf, Special Olympics (local) and Buckboard Therapeutic Riding Academy.
Report of Committees:
Election: a slate of candidates for election at the August meeting is needed. Jeanette Schreiner will agree to serve as treasurer again next year. Please see Bonita if you would like to be an officer for the next year.
Volunteer hours: After the June meeting, we have a total of 816 volunteer hours for this chapter. The volunteer hour sheet was passed around for July hours.
Wagonmaster: The tour at Sunrise was terrific. Guests from Holland also accompanied members from Wagon Wheel Sams. The next campout will be held at Lake Minatare. Election of officers will be held.

New Business:
The September campout will be held at Lake Ogallala on September 18-19. The meeting will be scheduled on Friday, September 18 at 5:00. The potluck will be held on Saturday. This meeting time change is necessary so President Al Herbel can travel to Grand Island for the State meeting on Saturday, September 19.
Everyone is asked to check their Good Sams membership dates. Those who are life members will not need to check. Some have memberships coming due soon.
50/50: A total of $40.00 was taken in through the 50/50 drawing. The Club received $20.00 . Bob Boots and Cap Brixius won the 50/50 drawing of $10.00 a piece. Bob Boots donated his winnings back to the club.
Host/Hostess: We would like to thank Bob and Marsha Boots for a fine job hosting the July meeting. George and Betty Wilhelm will host the noon meeting at Lake Minatare with a potluck dinner.
Adjourn: A motion was made by Betty Wilhelm to adjourn the meeting and seconded by Laurleen Adamson. Motion carried. Meeting was adjourned at 7:00 PM.
